I moved to San Diego from Washington, DC, in 1997 and soon thereafter met my now-wife on a sales call in El Centro. I am a proud graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, an Eagle Scout, and a Connecticut native. Elected to the Poway Unified School District’s Board of Trustees in 2014 and re-elected in 2018, I served as Board President in 2018 and 2022. I am also President of the San Diego County Prosperity Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization I founded in 2013 that is committed to sponsoring charitable activities locally and beyond. My other work includes a 25-year career as an accomplished political & public affairs and strategic communications professional providing consultative and executive management services for numerous non-profit/trade associations and corporate clientele, political committees, and candidates at every level of government. With a passion for community service, I served as President of the Rancho Peñasquitos Town Council for 5 years, founded/organized the community's annual Flag Day Celebration for 15+ years, and I currently volunteer as a member or director of numerous organizations, including 10+ years as a member of the Executive Board of the San Diego-Imperial Council of the Boy Scouts of America. I am a "Donor 4 Life" with the San Diego Blood Bank; Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 1648; and enjoy grilling, craft beer, and camping. My wife and I have two boys, ages 21 and 12, and a 10-year-old girl. We have lived in, and volunteered our time to, the Rancho Peñasquitos community for over 25 years. In addition to assisting buyers and sellers throughout San Diego County, I, and my broker Ginger Couvrette (a current Poway Unified Trustee) are "Go To" experts on the housing market in the award- winning and highly desirable Poway Unified School District. With tenacity and professionalism, I will “campaign for you” in your bid to buy or sell your property!
